September through March, these amazing turtles crawl ashore to lay their eggs, then slowly make their way back into the ocean. Heitor was lucky enough to stumble upon a bunch of them as he and some friendly neighbors searched for a good wave to ride. Hopefully we can have such luck with the kiddos! They really want to see these beautiful creatures.
